In other words, for example, could the Grassroots run ads on FoxNews.com regarding their blacking out Ron Paul?

And then it takes you to a website documenting the blackout.

Sure, but the publisher (Fox) can take them out as well

Yes, the web admin can run whatever they want on their site.

Kind of. Some sites (like this forum) use a network, like Google Adsense, which displays ads relevant to specific keywords on the page.

Big media sites like Fox News probably have their own advertising system in place.

(Why would any of us want to donate advertising dollars to Faux News, though?)
