I contacted what I believe is the coordinator of one group and members of many others with this message:

Hi, my name is Bob. I live in NE Ct.
I am trying to find volunteers to help me distribute campaign materials at Ozzfest in Mansfield, Ma. on Monday, August 20
Doors open at noon. There are about half a dozen of us (currently) that will be showing up to distribute fliers (I have 10,000 made just for this event) as well as 5,000 slimjims, dvd's, etc...
What I would like to ask of you is to contact any of your new england meetup groups and ask for volunteers. If people are interested, they can email me at interleave1@earthlink.net

Also, as part of another project I am trying to promote, we want to ask people to think about doing voter registration drives at local colleges/universities when the new semesters begin. Could you send something out about that to all of your groups?(I see you belong to quite a few). ;-)

Finally, I don't know if you belong to ronpaulforums.com but there are alot of very active people there (you should see the ad that was created for Ames on Saturday thanks to user donations) and donations for the campaign are always a big thing there. Do you think you could encourage people in your groups to donate to the campaign? The more the better. :-)

Are you in touch with any other groups that you're not apart of? Can you pass some of this info along?
