I sent this message to these e-mails: memberrelations@gop.com; chairman@gop.com; info@gop.com; political@gop.com; ecampaign@gop.com; rncommunications@gop.com

Thank you to the thread that provided the above listed Republican party contacts.

Dear Republicans,

There are about 100 reasons not to vote for McCain, whether its because he is not a conservative or because he constantly compromises his principles (if he has any anymore) for votes. He is not a smart man, he is not a strong man, he is not a presidential man. Period.

Why has the Republican party led us to this inept and nonconservative candidate? Compromise. The same compromise that led McCain to team with Feingold, Kennedy, Leiberman (for God sakes Joe F'in Leiberman campaigns with the man).

If the Republican party would grow some metaphorical balls, stop compromising principles, give up on the war that is draining our economy and destroying our respectability around the world, we could win.

Or....the country gets Hillary. We get higher taxes, a noncompetitive health care industry, socialism. We get another Clinton to promote the welfare state.

I would rather Hillary destroy the country through socialism, then McCain do it through the guise of conservatism; because you and I know he is not a conservative.

For all the ranting about Ronald Reagan, the man himself is rolling in his grave when people like McCain say they were foot soldiers in his revolution. That is a load of crap and you know it.

The Republicans can save themselves. Not by pandering to the money interests within the party, that would rather see their BS policies and "compromises" with the Democrats succeed, but by listening to real people.

You have one candidate that will appeal to the American people, if you let them hear his message. If you don't understand that by now, the Republicans are doomed to fail, America will head towards socialism, and millions of current Republicans will find a new party.

Ashamed of my party,

Chad Peace

My letter to RNC, GOP, etc.

I have watched as the machinations of the RNC, the GOP, the Main Stream Media, and many other powers that be have pushed upon the Republican electorate the worst slate of candidates ever while marginalizing the one actual conservative in the race. That would be Ron Paul. You seem to be about to reap exactly what you have sown.

There is no possible way I will support another neocon Republican candidate. I will not support McCain or Huckabee or Romney. If necessary I will write in my candidate-Ron Paul or I will consider voting for a Democrat or perhaps an Independent party candidate.

You deserve to lose many Republicans and soon I shall become one of them as you have done everything possible to alienate the faith and trust of Republicans everywhere who expect conservative values and agendas. Since 1984 you have steered the platform so far left that you are now the equivalent of Democrats. Now you shall lose your base as the old members get even older and die off. You have destroyed this party and I have no sympathy for the results it will bring you.

Take your neocon globalist agenda and put it where the sun does not shine. I will retain my conservative values and continue to search for candidates at all levels who genuinely reflect and are in lockstep with what I believe this country is all about and that is definitely not the totalitarian police and corporate welfare-warfare state you envision.

I wish you all the bad luck you can imagine.

Ronald Reagan wasn't even Ronald Reagan.

McCain has a point when he says he's following in Reagan's footsteps, and not the delusional and out of touch image conservatives usually give of Reagan.
