Don't know if this was brought up here yet, but these are awesome!

http://libertydollar.org/ld/ronpauldollar/index.htm

1oz Copper = $1
1oz Silver = $25
1oz Gold = $1000

The copper ones are cheap enough to hand out to friends and family. I just ordered 100 of the coppers. They are taking pre-orders for the next 30 days.

It's been discussed A LOT. The campaign does not support paying them a premium and would rather have donations. ;)

unfortunately they had to outsource the coppers to a non-us company; for cost reasons and they wont be available until Oct or Nov. I forget which.

It read that a few liberty dollar supporters were upset because the RP dollars are not inline with the stated goals of the liberty dollar org. Which is to get them circulated and spent, not to be saved as collectibles.

But nevertheless; I ordered up 30coppers to give to people and a few silvers for family.

i would not endorse these guys... buy from the free market, don't start a cult

on the contrary, I think RP agrees/would agree with their stated goals: alternative currency and legalizing gold/silver.

I think the RP coins are a result of:
1. They support him.
2. Free Advertising

I plan to give the copper dollars away to people I convert to ron paul and are enthusiastic about him.

Yeah, If I had the money I would rather buy an oz of gold for $675 and then give $325 to the campaign. Those premiums are pretty outragous, imo.

*WARNING*

This may be a cheap attempt to swindle RP supporters out of money. Buy them if you'd like, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't benefit the campaign. Just a pack of opportunists.
