evangelicals + anti-mccain vote is significant. mccain support can't top 40% outside the northeast, which means RP vote will be significant too. the upcoming calendar is not too favorable to mccain, with caucuses today and a southern primary. other than florida and south carolina, mccain has not proven he can win in the south or midwest. virginia, wisconsin, texas, ohio still have to vote. the northeast has already voted. it's not a foregone conclusion that mccain can win 40% of the remaining delegates to lock it up. RP delegates are looking more valuable.

the media is making a big mistake. they are starting to believe their own press. they built mccain up to be the nominee and believe it's impossible to stop him. they fail to realize that at least a third of the GOP won't vote mccain, that turnout will be lower in the upcoming contests which will further hurt mccain, and that much of the remaining delegates are in the south and midwest.

I hope your right. My only fear is that Huckabee will be a little GOP bitch like Romney and accept VP or whatever they promise him.

THE CONVENTION DOES NOT HAVE TO BE BROKERED! We can overturn Rules at the State Conventions. Google - [your state] Republican Convention. Look for your state information at ronpaul2008.com, States.
