I'm just wondering out loud, where are all the familiar "faces" from early/mid 2007?

I haven't seen a lot of the early Ron Paul supporters around lately. Where are all you guys? Seriously, where are you all?

Some of us have been supporting Dr. Paul LOONNNNGGGG before these forums were even on-line. I told another recent presidential candidate in March of '06 that Dr. Paul would be my dream (read perfect) candidate for President! When Dr. Paul actually decided to run, I was beyond estatic!! I remain that way to this day as I refuse to throw in the towel unless and until the good Doctor does so himself. IF that happens, I will continue to work for Constitutional government but I haven't decided yet in what capacity to do so.

Right. Some of us have been supporting Ron Paul's efforts in Congress for DECADES and were just ecstatic when he declared his bid for the GOP nomination for POTUS. ;)

Me too! I remember ALWAYS talking with my husband saying, "We need Ron Paul in the White House."

When he announced he was running I was beyond thrilled.

I think someone said something on here once like "Once you're waken you can never go back to sleep." I will never stop fighting and spreading the message, ever.

Here to stay. Patrolling away. The frigging board slides down so fast with trivial BS and redundant redundancy that us old timers get lost in the mix. I still am surprised lately when i see a BLS post or Aravoth. I supported Ron Paul 1000% before i even heard of him. I finally found him in 1998 and started reading his Texas Straight Talk columns and thought.. wow..this guy gets it and takes his oath seriously. I signed some petition linked to from a nerd site to get him to run and forgot about it until one morning a thread popped up on another site I read daily..the one i found out about him on http://rumormillnews.com

That was it. For the first time in my life i was gonna throw my schtick into a politicians campaign. We were gonna take on the NWO and banksters with a message of Liberty, his wife's cookbook, a computer terminal and learn the ropes on the way. How could we lose with these powerful weapons. :D

I've been following Dr. Paul and other anti-establishment conservatives for a long time now, way before this forum came about. I haven't wracked up all that many posts because there have always been a lot of other places I've visited that cover and talk about Ron Paul but aren't specifically just about him.

I'm hoping Ron Paul supporters can get behind an anti-McCain movement. Along with other conservatives, we need to keep McCain out of the white house and help to rebuild the Republican party by saying NO to the Washington establishment which is slowly but surely destroying it. If we keep McCain out of the white house, this will send a message that the Republican party cannot win without conservatives, that principles do matter more than merely having an "R" after one's name. It is time to burn it down and rebuild from the ground up.

It wasn't really a pissing contest. He was told to do something degrading. So I can see why he hasn't been around much since then.

I myself haven't been posting much since a clash I had with one of the mods convinced me that my posts haven't been adding any real value to the forums and that my perspective and priorities are so marginal to the Ron Paul movement as to make mostly irrelevant any participation on my part beyond voting for him. But yeah, I stop by now and then and I saw this thread.

It seems like they mostly posted a lot less and kept up the hard work offline when it became "crunch time" like they were supposed to while all the new guys were just here for the ride. Now the latter group is thinning out and we're getting back to a group that actually care enough to do some work.

As usual I lurked for a long time before I finally broke down and registered with the forums...But like many others, I was watching Dr. Paul for a long time before joining here.

May 15th here.

Met Josh in Iowa in June, have stayed in touch and stayed busy for Ron Paul 110%.

Lots of new stuff being cooked up for the road ahead, so stay tuned.

If there is a consummate Ron Paul Patriot, it is this gentleman.

The reLOVution charges onward!

Eh? It seems like they mostly posted a lot less and kept up the hard work offline when it became "crunch time" like they were supposed to while all the new guys were just here for the ride. Now the latter group is thinning out and we're getting back to a group that actually care enough to do some work.

Well put, I also notice a lot of the people that have been around for a long time have lower post counts (myself included) because we aren't just here to preach to the choir...I personally have seen these forums as more of a tool in our arsenal more than anything else.

I'm here.

I've been on RP Forums since June '07.

I show up here 'bout every day, but I don't say much because....I suffer from FOBCAT (fear of being called a troll).

Hey, but I think I'm beginning to make progress because I've almost made it to post # 30. Maybe I can beat this thing.

I am here and do not know if I should be unhappy, angry, or satisfied with Ron Paul's latest e-mail. Been a supporter since the first presidential debate.

I'm just wondering out loud, where are all the familiar "faces" from early/mid 2007?

I haven't seen a lot of the early Ron Paul supporters around lately. Where are all you guys? Seriously, where are you all?

I'm still here - just working two jobs to try and get my debt out of debt. ;)

Well, today I was at CPAC helping staff the booth that Romney guys gave to the Paul camp after Romney suspended. Very interesting, and I think the spin on RP campaign is starting to shift from "nutjobs" to "honorable fighters for a lost cause brand of conservatism", which, while not perfect, is certainly an improvement.

Beyond that, my Congressional campaign will be decided in the Potomac Primaries 2/12

I've been a fan of Paul for years, but supported his presidential bid starting back in about May of last year. Convinced everyone close to me during that time as well.

Still here,
Just kickin' back and lurking. Waiting for the summer patriots to fall away I guess.
Been working on the NH recount for about a month now, we should be done with that Tuesday. I plan on helping the Vermont border towns out some after that. They'll be getting ready for their primary.

Where am I?

I'm on my way to my best friend's wedding, and then as soon as I return I will be trying to find some work so I can earn income which I haven't done in +2 months because of the campaign.

Before I can continue on the war path I have GOT to make some money. I won't do anyone any good standing in the welfare line now will I?

Still here. Voted for Ron twice this week -- once in the Washington Republican Caucus, and once on an absentee ballot for the Washington Primary. I'm a Ron Paul delegate to my county's convention, and I'm with Ron Paul 100% forever. I will write him in in November if I have to.

But it's a long way to the convention... onward and upward!
