A new poll by the Associated Press-Ipsos is showing just how much impact our candidate is having on the politics of America. The poll was conducted Monday through Wednesday of this past week and involved telephone interviews with 1,006 adults.
When asked what would be the best way to get the country out of the recession, 48% said that pulling out of Iraq would best help the economy - not the spending stimulus plan just proposed by Bush and past by Congress this past week. Another 20% said getting out of Iraq would help the economy somewhat.
This link between pulling out of Iraq and the economy is directly a result of the people having listened to Ron Paul during this campaign. Even though the results of the voting haven't been what we wanted, the importance of his message having been heard and taken in cannot be discounted on the political stage, or overlooked by the malcontented within our own ranks.
