while this article is very well put together. Ron Paul will not run as a 3rd Party or independent. He specifically said this in the email sent out by the campaign yesterday.

It's true, all of it!

If I had my 'druthers, Ron Paul would announce his intention to run for the nomination of the Libertarian Party this very day. He would easily dominate that field (assuming the LP isn't too hurt by RP's refusal several weeks ago), and, I believe, would go on to be a hearty contender and solid alternative voting choice to protest the Dem/Rep duopoly.

But, it looks like I won't get my 'druthers.
