First we found Ron Paul, did our research, and found out what Ron Paul stood for.
We ALL worked our butts off, donated, and worked our butts off some more, to spread the word of this HONEST most TRUTH giving man.
Who by the way has WORKED HIS ASS OFF FOR YOU, ME. and for OUR UNTIED STATES OF AMERICAN.
NOW either you stand up and FIGHT for RON PAUL or climb in your little bullshit hole and lie in it.
Because I am pissed...
not about how the msm and all those who already picked our next president, but at what I have been reading in these forums as of late. Everyone is now is either in the dumps, picking on one another, and crying like little girls. COME ON!
I know, this is what 'they' wanted.... for you all to start doubting yourselves, and Ron Paul.
GET REAL PEOPLE....WE are not the crazy ones here...WE are the SMART ones.
we still have 20 STATES!!!!!
now get out there and FIGHT for YOU, RON PAUL, and his message of FREEDOM.
and NEVER GIVE UP!
RON PAUL is still in the race...ONE of Three...I say we did a good job so far and it's not OVER.

I agree with your optimism.
If we have enough delegates we can turn the convention into a John Mccain hatefest. It won't take much. We might even be able to get delegates to change their minds.
A majority of delegates in just 5 states gives us power to cause trouble. We can make motions nominations etc......
Ron Paul supporters booing Mccain on national Televison would be something else now wouldn't it?

I'm in Pennsylvania .... primary isn't until 4/22 ....just got 800 more slim jims ....and have more signs coming. In Pa ...we're NOT giving up ...! Anyway, in last Fridays (2/1/08)newspaper
(Lewistown Sentinel), a woman wrote a letter to the editor
endorsing John McCain. She is Mifflin County chairwoman for John
McCain 2008. You would have thought she was talking about God
himself, the way she was praising this man. I was absolutely
furious and wrote a rebuttal to the editor. The way the media is
always throwing up road blocks, I didn't think they would even
consider printing my rebuttal. I got a phone call today (Sunday), from the
editor, to verify that I was the one who wrote the rebuttal. After
telling her that I had indeed written this letter, she said, "OK,
Mr Hummel, you can expect to see your rebuttal in either Monday or
Tuesdays edition. I almost fell outta my chair..lol...! I politely
thanked her and hung up. Anyway, here"s my letter of rebuttal, if
any cares to read it ..lol..!
Rebuttal to "Here's straight talk, GOP establishment"
To the editor,
I wish to post a rebuttal to Deborah Aldinger's article endorsing John McCain. We all try to vote for the candidate who's principles most closely match our own, and I respect that. However, I have an opposing viewpoint and sincerely hope that you would hear me out. In your article, you state that the Republican party ARE NOT happy with the party and want A NON-establishment nominee, implying that John McCain is the only NON-establishment nominee in the party, which is totally untrue. In fact, there IS only ONE presidential candidate, out of the six that are left, that is truely NON-establishment, and it is NOT John McCain, by a long shot. The man of whom I am speaking is Congressman Ron Paul, champion of the U.S. Constitution.
Congressman Ron Paul is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation’s capital. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. In the words of former Treasury Secretary William Simon, Dr. Paul is the “one exception to the Gang of 535” on Capitol Hill.
Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record:
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.
Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.
John McCain has stated that we will stay in Iraq, for 100 years if need be and he wants to give amnesty to illegal aliens (Ron Paul - no amnesty). I could NEVER vote for such a person and the thought of someone like this in the W.H. is scary, to say the least. I cannot stand the thought of my grand children or great grandchildren STILL fighting in a bogus war, years from now, in a country that has no WMD, no army, no air force, and no navy. I say, support our troops - BRING EM HOME NOW. It would not be a loss, because we have proved that there are no WMD in Iraq, which was the reason for going there in the first place.
There is a REVOLUTION going on in our country right now and it's called "The Ron Paul REVOLUTION". We are a stubborn bunch, who believe that strict adherence to our constitution is the only way to restore our republic. Electing Ron Paul for the office of President, would be the same as electing one of the founding fathers into office. Come join the REVOLUTION !

I don't care how much money they have.
I don't care how much power they have.
I don't care how ruthless they are.
I don't care how long they've been at their criminal activities.
My dad taught me that right always wins, and when you're right, you fight like hell.
Gather the evidence in every state that's left. Without video and photographic evidence attached to a notarized affidavit, there is no ammunition for HQ to attack with.
I say that we can challenge the nomination that's been had by fraudulent means.
It's time we pool all of the fraud employed by the criminals and used to wrest this election from our hands and USE IT.
In the 1960s and 1970s they asserted their power against millions of us who were aware and protested. They killed our leaders and sent the National Guard after us with shoot to kill orders while they ramped up Vietnam, removed the dollar from it's gold ties, conspired to allow oil to rise from $1.40 a barrel to $40.00, reaped the windfall profits and used them to fund the Reagan $2 trillion deficit, which we all are still paying, every week, off the top.
We are experiencing the same game plan today. They never change what works. 76% wanted out of Vietnam. 70% want out of Iraq. We stayed in Vietnam another 10 years, we'll stay in Iraq another 100 years. They don't care what the people want. Protests don't affect them.
Criminal and civil lawsuits will.
Rats are rats. Once a few get convicted, the rest will jump ship like the rats they are.
Let's please organize the efforts to document the fraud. Let's please help the relentless efforts of people like Bev Harris. We have 20 more states to go. Document everything, no matter how insignificant it may seem or how intimidating they may act and attach it to notarized affidavits and pool them to be sent to HQ.
Let's not send Ron into battle with no bullets in his guns. He'll get to speak to a national audience at the convention. Help him to make a vivid and lasting impression. Let's prove that right wins and wrong loses. Let's tell them that we simply do not accept a candidate-by-fraud in this Presidential race.
Out of Iraq. Balance the damned budget. Pay down the debt. Stop the illegal printing presses. Secure the borders. Stop corporate welfare. NOW! OR ELSE!
We're never gonna have a man like Ron Paul at the helm again because there is no one else like him. Let's send him to the convention with as much force as we can muster, with 500,000 supporters outside and delegates inside, eh?
I have to wait until May to vote, but for those who get to vote sooner, ping me if you need anything. I'll be wherever, whenever or collapse trying.

I'll be canvassing this weekend in Mississippi.
If I hear "oh he can't win" I'll simply smile and say "Well I'm working to restore the Constitution first and get Ron Paul elected second, because I know that McCain or Clinton or Obama will destroy what little freedom is left in America"
Attending my first ever County Republican Party meeting Monday night. I'll be going for a County delegate position come April when we select ours.
Probably can't make the anti-illegal-immigration rally at my State Capitol on Tuesday but I know two people who want to go and I'm going to try and get them a ride there.
So that covers the next 4 days, and I'm sure I'll come up with many more things to do after that :)
The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

Remember, beyond the convention is the general election. McCain and the GOP will be begging for our support.
The GOP and McCain will lose this election without our support. And given their reprehensible actions, I really don't think a majority of us will be giving that support. By their own hand, they have all but ensured their own defeat (if the democrats don't crush them outright). We have 6% or greater support, and that is more than enough to tilt the scales.
Our strongest statement is yet to come. In the general election they will hear us loudly and clearly. A McCain defeat will speak volumes to the republicans, and perhaps they will finally listen to what Ron Paul has been saying.
Write in Ron Paul. If there is no way to do so, then vote democrat as a protest vote. Make them listen.
