View Full Version : Important fundamental difference

There is one very important fundamental difference between the original American ideals, and the current encroaching pseudo-Marxist ideals we are seeing form around us. It may not be the only difference by any means, but it certainly is one of vital importance for people to come to terms with.

Our ideas of Freedom, limited government, and self determination are in contrast to, what is apparently the majority of America's ideas of limited freedom, government, and predetermination.

But, thats not the important difference- The important difference is that our current government, and it's supporters favor the age old argument of tyranny- "The ends justify the means."

This perspective is what "The road to hell is paved with good intentions" points to.

While I am not of the opinion that the NeoCons intentions are good. I am well aware that this is how it was sold. This is how America is starting to think. It matters not the actions that are taken, or the lives that are lost. Just as long as we get what we want.

While our ideals tend to be the opposite, feeling that the means always justify the ends- at least in the end.

How we die is irrelevant, it's how we live that is important.

Maybe a bit corny, but it seems to be more true with every passing day.
