Agreed, heck hold a press conference in front St. John's Church where Patrick Henry gave his "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death" speech. Or go to Charlottesville, where Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration of Independence is from, also near by is the home of James Madison author of the Constitution. A lot of good themes to work around for a candidate like Paul.
Also I've seen or heard no adds for Paul, Obama, Hillary, McCain, Huckabee adds are all over the place here in VA. The only thing I've seen is Paul signs which are paid for and put up by activists. According to a local TV station (Ch. 6) Paul is in the double digits. I don't understand why he wouldn't campaign here, its only a hundred miles from his office in DC.

If he shows up in Richmond, I will definitely be there.

Tell his supporters to get material for others who do not know about him and target them! Even with big support, we need to landslide him!
