lol ya right a anchor. ive heard for like 5 at different spot in the middle east have been cut, no internet for iran and surrounding countries because of it

I'm not buying the bogus anchor story. There were 4 different cables cut in 3 different locations over the span of a couple days. It also seems to coincide with the opening of the oil bourse. Not a coincidence.

Not grassroots either. :P But hi!

Cable-cutting in preparation for war - the historical precedent.



UPDATE

The Khaleej Times Online is reporting that no ships were in the area over the cables at the time that they broke, the area is said to be a no go zone for ships. 12 hours of video before and after the incident were monitored showing no ships being in the area.

No Ships?

4 cables now. Too many coincidental accidents. Iran is cut off completely, and the rest of the traffic is rerouted through more reliable connections. Very interesting. It would appear that something is going to happen before those cables can be repaired.
