Don't wear your RP shirt or scream about the nWo before the voting begins. ;)

I don't know if the rules have changed recently but I know how it worked 8 years ago. At the precinct caucus you can be elected as a delegate to the county convention. The convention is on a Saturday in the spring sometime. As a county delegate you are also a delegate to the district caucus which happens before the county convention. At the district caucus you can run for delegate to the state convention. All along the way you vote on planks in the party platform and can introduce amendments as well. You will need two Saturdays free one each for the county convention and district caucus. If you go to the state convention you will need that weekend free because it is two days. That is the way I remember things working.
