Worst comes to worst, go to the county clerk's office and ask if it's fine, then ask for a new one if it isn't.

By the way, I voted in person and our instructions were the same.

My line was also larger, because I took a pen and went back and forth about 4 times so it could not possibly be changed. We then had to put our ballots in a machine for counting. I was told that my vote was counted . . . . .

okay, so you had a fat line and your ballot was accepted in the machine?

In most of WA elections are done by mail-in ballot. I'm not sure about Redmond.

i know, and it's headed that way here i'm sure. but it's kind of fun to go into polling place. last time 4 of the workers got slim-jims before the final gal told me i was breaking the law (don't think she was correct, but the other poll workers kept their SJs :)

Cartoon - take it down to the clerks office on Monday and ask if this is an acceptable ballot. and bring friends with you tomorrow.
