This was posted by Jane Aitken:

"Just in from the workers there:

CAUCUS Doors CLOSE at 1pm, not start! The Radio Announcement is WRONG!

Radio station 106.9 is announcing the caucus as starting at 1:30pm. People are thinking this is true. We need everyone to send out as many phone calls, emails as possible. Some people, trust me, have not paid attention to the official campaign site Or GOP info and will sadly believe this. Similar misinformation was sent out in Nevada.

Post this everywhere you can in all threads. I am only posting it here."

I'm fairly certain your mistaken. By all means show me something to prove it if I'm wrong, but I'm nearly positive that the doors open at 1, the doors close at 1:30 (As in you are closed inside and the voting STARTS). Then whenever the voting ends the caucus ends.

Prove me wrong if I am. But If I'm right please don't misinform people.

EDIT ---- It doesn't hurt to be there early though! So be there before early just to be safe!

Someone verify this immediately so we can pass it around these forums and to everyone known as a Ron Paul voter in Washington.

I heard on XM that the Republican caucus for WA started at 1PM so I took that as Closing at 1 PM and the Democrat Caucus Started at 1:30 PM so I take that the doors Close at 1:30 PM.

Ooops.

Re-reading it I'm still fairly certain that what I said is still correct. But hell it can't hurt to be there early so...

I don't know how accurate this is, but this information was posted by Jane Aitken on http://www.dailypaul.com/node/35847#comments. Also found some information on the Washington State Republican Party website http://www.wsrp.org/Calendar/Detail.aspx?EventID=8679. They don't specify whether the door opens or closes at 1pm, just that the caucus is at 1pm.

Either way, it's better to be safe and get there early.

I don't know for sure, but if the caucus starts at 1pm I would think that's when they close the doors and start.

Just saw that one of our forum members (FreedomFighter8008) posted this today:

"I Just Got a Call From Ron Paul!
O.k. so it was a recording. But it was sooooo cool!!! It was a reminder that the caucus is tomorrow, we should be there before 1pm (ideally 1/2 - 1 hr before that), and he gave a number to call to find your caucus location.
Wahoo!!"

Doors CLOSE at 1 pm! This is true for ALL caucus locations in WA state. Get there early, doors typically are open by noon, maybe earlier depending upon the expected outcome where you live. If your precinct doesn't have a GOP PCO, get there early and request to be appointed a temporary chairman so you will be in charge of the voting process. Don't forget to print out the results worksheet from RP2008 and send the results back to the campaign!

We've been having caucus training every week for the last 6 weeks, we're ok, thanks ;)

I'm in Washington and the information I've received is that the doors close at 1:00pm. I'll be showing up at 12:30pm.

Tonight there will be a Washington state conference call with WA State RP HQ at 9PM. Anyone from Washington PM me and I will get you that number so you can participate.

And yes, from what I understand, doors close at 1PM. That's what I was told by Snohomish county GOP chair about six weeks ago.

Just go to this website for all the WA information you need:
http://www.ronpaul2008.com/states/washington

It says to be there by 12:30PM and it all starts at 1PM. Be sure to fill out the caucus packet and dress like Republicans.

ALSO, just got this email from the campaign...

There are changed caucus locations for a couple precincts in Snohomish County: Centennial, Meadow, Pennant. They are meeting at the Snohomish Free Mason's Hall.

In fact, why don't you all check your caucus location, to make sure it is the same. Here is the updated list:
