Romney's withdrawal has left the 22 delegates he won in Massachusetts 'unpleged' to any candidate.

The "Massachusetts Republican Party Plan for the Selection of Delgates to the Minneapolis 2008 Convention " reads as follows:

Sec. 4.14

"......If the winning Repubilcan candidate for president dies, withdraws or changes his party registration before delegates and alternate delegates pledged to him have been elected, the the delegates and alternate delegates, if any, that would otherwise have been allocated as pledged to such candidate shall be deemed unpledged delegates and so allocated by the Allocation Comittee..."

Just as in Michigan with 45 (24 for Romney?) delegates we have a second bite at the apple-an excellent opportunity to win nominating convention delegates for Ron Paul.

Mitt only "suspended" his campaign, but good find, it's only a matter of time. ;)

He's a jerk who was only in the race as long as he has been to keep Dr. Paul from getting too much momentum.
