I don't like rap, but this one rocks! This would be a great background for a commercial.

Profound is exactly the right word. I know these guys personally. After I heard them do a live version at their house, I was blown away. Promised them that they would perform this live before the good Doctor. Judging by the positive feedback in this thread, I'm now more convinced than ever to make it happen.

When the Orlando event is set up, we can have these guys perform.

Hey MC Ron and MC Paul, add me over at www.myspace.com/hardrockforron :D

They say the rebels in Iraq still fight for Saddam
but that's bullshit and I'll show you why it's totally wrong
Because if another country invaded Boone County tonight
It'd be warfare through Madison and Washington Heights
I wouldn't fight for Bush or white America's dream
I'd be fighting for my people's survival and self esteem
I wouldn't fight for racist churches from the south
I'd be fighting to keep the fucking occupation out

Who cares about anti-music voters? ;)

Anyway, i really enjoyed this song and the lyrics are impressive. The production is really good too, and if anyone is curious, it's based on (sampled) Sharon Jones' single "This land is your land" from 2004. Which really fits in with the theme of the rap. Check it out if you want...
