Can we get an email campaign going to get the NRA to endorse Any Republican But McCain?! Might suggest there's no long-term reason not to, since if McCain gets the nomination (God forbid) he couldn't win the general election under any circumstances anyway. Can we do it?

Last weekend my friend asked Wayne La Pierre (the president of the NRA) point blank why the NRA doesn't endorse Ron Paul.
He said:
"Because he has voted against some of our bills"
What a stupid HACK, do they actually think Ron Paul is anti-gun because of that? The bill he was reffereing to (h.r.1036, http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul91.html) was unconstitutional and THAT is why Paul voted against it.

Well then tell him that at least he has to endorse someone other than McCain

Hmmmm, my father is a long time lifemember of the NRA. He called them prior to our primary and asked about endorsements. He was told that they were looking favorably at him.

Like other's, they will make up their mind after the rest of the election.
By then, they can get ready to give up their weapons.
If they are going to endorse Dr. Paul, they need to do it today. It takes time to spread the word and time is running out fast.
Dr. Paul voting against one bill that was not Constitutional will be nothing if they start rounding up their weapons.
Members might want to start talking to their local associations asap to put some heat on an for an endorsement.
It is going to take members talking some sense to them before it is too late.

The NRA is a hunting lobby...nothing to do with the second amendment.
Drop your NRA membership and join Gun Owners of America.

Cancel your membership and JOIN GUN OWNERS OF AMERICA!!!
McCain wants to takw away guns, the Dems want to take them away even more...
Paul and Huck are the only two. But Pauls overall record is better

NRA members should call 1-800-672-3888 and demand that they endorse Ron Paul.
One could also send an email or two thousand here - https://www.nrahq.org/contact.asp

The NRA has done more to advance gun control than they care to admit. Go with the Gun Owners of America instead !

Be sure to mention to the NRA why you're canceling! An NRA cancellation bomb could just get us an endorsement!
