I tired of reading about how we can't have a brokered convention. We can't because the rules won't let us. What kind of revolutionary attitude is this? You know what rule matters? Rule 32.

***
A motion to suspend the rules shall always be in order, but only when made by authority of a majority of the delegates from any state and seconded by a majority of the delegates from each of five (5) or more other states severally.

***

We need the majority of delegates in 5 states to agree that John Mcsocialist isn't going to represent this party.

We need the majority of delegates in 5 states to agree to let Ron Paul DEBATE John Mccain on National television.

We enought delegates to chant "Ron Paul" until they have us forcible removed.

It doesn't matter if he wins each and every state from now on. What part of SUSPEND THE RULES do you people not understand?
It's like saying it's unconstitutional to amend the constitution.

Nevada. Louisiana. Montana. You guys are probably already in position to do this.Any state can do it if they hate mccain enought.

And for those that haven't read how Lincoln won the nomination

http://www.greatamericanhistory.net/nomination.htm

And I don't care whether you liked Lincoln or not. The point is he didn't play nice or by the rules.

Some people on this board are willing to pick up guns, stop paying taxes, and march on washington................but we aren't willing to crash a party? This ain't over. It hasn't even started yet.

it's sad when some on our side fall victim to the divide and conquer tactics being employed against us.

stay strong people!! stay strong!

Uh.. THat's a motion to suspend the rules.

To actually suspend the rules requires a 2/3rds vote.

Point taken... for all those who want to give up, shut up and go away, you are dead weight. For those who want to move forward, pick up your sword and prepare for battle.

The only thing that can prevent a brokered convention is a McCain affirmation on the first round. The only thing that can prevent a McCain affirmation on the first round is a string of losses for McCain in the few primaries left. A brokered convention is pretty damned likely if we can make sure conservatives understand they have more to fear from a McCain candidacy than a little negotiation at the convention.

McCain's record on gun control sucks. This is a great lever to use. You canvas a gun nut and that is the quick way to get him off voting for McCain--and any vote against McCain, at this point, is a vote for a brokered convention.

Romney had a majority of delegates in several states. I believe he even won some winner take all states Tuesday.

GET HIS DELEGATES:

Ron Paul's new book (The Revolution: A Manifesto) comes out in April (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8l8AIuJJRZo&feature=PlayList&p=7C02EA0A81B668FD&index=0&playnext=1).

There are talks of a march on DC with Paul speaking this spring or summer. It's a new idea just thought up that needs more planning but seems popular. http://www.revolutionmarch.com/

In my opinion, if there's going to be a Revolution march on Washington, it should be in the summer because of the number of supporters that are in college. Plus it gives us more time to plan and spread the word.

listen to the facts, mccain needs to win 40% of the remaining delegates to reach the 1191 number. A brokered is still very alive and well.

Right! And his position on gun control is the best lever to use against him with G.O.P. voters. Beat McCain like a drum!

So between Ron Paul, Huckabee, and Romney(???) we need +65% ???

We must strive for that!

Just Remember... From the Beginning of the Race, the Media has tried to say "It's all over after this defeat...". This is the same old story... don't be fooled... it is not over.

Over? Did you say Over? Nothing is over until WE decide it is!

Had an acquaintance email me today saying Ron Paul can't win, why aren't you voting for hillary or obama?

I pulled out my sword and lopped off his ear.

I think he understands now.

I ended my reply to him with GIVE ME LIBERTY, OR GIVE ME DEATH.

I wonder if he'll email me anymore...lol!

Good suggestion. As you will note, the website claims to be a PRE-launch and has only a suggested date on it. Sign up please? Everyone? I'm still trying to figure out put the website up. I thought it was The_Bee, but I'm not sure....all I know, is it's an excellent idea whose time has come.
