URGENT: Do not let the Louisiana GOP screw us a second time! We could possibly secure 20 delegates for RP. We need every La. RP supporter to vote again in this poll. There will probably be a much smaller GOP turnout for this event(La. GOP is not promoting this on their website). Our strong numbers can make a huge difference in this poll. Let's show them how determined we are to win. This is our opportunity to grab some delegates while the other campaigns have their backs turned.

The Presidential Preference Primary/Municipal Primary Election is February 9, 2008

# Only voters registered as being affiliated with the Republican Party may vote for the following offices:

* Republican Presidential Nominee.
* Republican State Central Committee members.
* Republican Parish Executive Committee members.

# The deadline to register to vote in the February 9, 2008 primary is January 9, 2008.

WHY IS THIS SO IMPORTANT?

All of Louisiana's 2008 national convention delegates will be uncommitted, except that if a presidential candidate receives more than 50 percent of the vote in the February 9, 2008 Presidential Preference Primary, state party rules require 20 of Louisiana's at-large delegates to support that candidate on the first ballot of the national convention. If no presidential candidate receives a majority on February 9th, the at-large delegates will be uncommitted.

BTW, the state convention will be held at 10:00 am on February 16, 2008 at the Old State Capitol in Baton Rouge.:D

I have to wonder just how much credence this primary will have. I have not heard of any response having been given to the complaint filed with the LAGOP.

Have any of you?

If the caucus fracus, proves to be in our favor, the primary would be redundant or moot.

Andrew Axsom has not returned any of my calls or emails. I guess I'm not worth a shit in his opinion, he can't take a freakin' minute to give me a yes or no answer to any question. I'm starting to loose my cool with the lil' turd.

I haven't heard anything either. With last night's email, I think that they either let it go or let the LAGOP get called on their corruptness. With the entire LAGOP backing McCain, this election may be their undoing. I mean, who will throw support behind an entire state committee that backs a liberal?

Ripe for a revolution!

priority...girlfriend and I just voted. We were the only ones voting at the time. While I was walking out I overheard a guy walking in say "I will never vote for John McCain". He was probably a RP supporter too. He looked pissed.
