View Full Version : Could we get LEAP to endorse Ron Paul?

LEAP is Law Enforcement Against Prohibition. I think Dr. Paul would be in favor of ending the 'drug war' and I think LEAP would be willing to get behind him on this issue. I already sent feed back to LEAP.

I didn't know this organization existed. I'll be getting in touch with them for sure to see if there's anything I can do for them locally.

I'm pretty sure that LEAP (I work with them sometimes) is a non-profit and prohibited from making partisan endorsements.

Yes, but the Christian Coalition is also a Not for profit and they are allowed to give out voter "guides". They send these out to their members highlighting the issues that are most important to them and they use highly slanted wording to get across the message of who they support. Also, they highlight in yellow opinions that they endorse. In RP case, LEAP could put the top five on there and only highlight RP because he has the only opinion that they agree with.
