Okay I, obviously, love Ron Paul.
His stance on abortion, on debt, on money, on peace, on the death penalty, on global warming, on states rights, on how to carry a debate by focusing on the issues, etc...
But to those who advocate a third party run, what do you hope to gain? We do worse in open primaries than we do in caucuses, when it comes to a general election we will be destroyed.
The media has largely ignored us and they are going to continue to do so if we run a third party bid. Why not start saving and education for 2012?
(full disclosure: I own intrade shares and would benefit financially if RP did not make a third party bid.)
