Remember The ALAMO Money Bomb February 23rd!!!!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Battle of the Alamo took place at the Alamo Mission in San Antonio, Texas. The battle was between the Republic of Mexico and the rebel Texian forces during the Texians' fight for independence — the Texas Revolution. The 13-day siege started Tuesday, February 23, 1836, and ended on Sunday, March 6, 1836, with the capture of the mission and the death of nearly all the Texian and Tejano defenders, except for a few slaves, women and children. Despite the win, the 13-day holdout stalled the Mexican Army, and allowed Sam Houston to gather troops and supplies for his later success at the Battle of San Jacinto. The Texian revolutionaries went on to win the war.

"In May of 1860, the votes of 233 delegates were required to win the Republican nomination. Abraham Lincoln arrived at that convention starting only with the support of the 22 delegates from Illinois. He went on to win the nomination."

Liberal McCain is being assulted on all fronts of his so called conservative credentials. IF there is a Brokered Convention all bets are off and anything can happen. Ron Paul will not be speaking to Media Pundits or commentators in a rigged debate, he will be speaking to everyday Americans directly. The more time that passes the weaker McCaine becomes as the attacks mount. The Ron Paul Grassroots has a very important role to play. Not just keeping Ron Paul in this fight but also taking McCain down. There are many factors that favor us:

The Texas Primary - do you really think Texans are going to vote for Liberal McCain over one of their own. There are 140 delegates at stake, more than enough to deal Ron Paul back in.

Increasing opposition to McCaine from conservatives.

McCains propensity for doing dumb arrogant things which will piss voters and delegates off.

The symbolism of The ALAMO to not only rally the Grassroots but also Texans, other primary voters, and delegates.

The desire of the GOP and all state delegates to PICK A WINNER. We know McCain can't win the general election. We know because we will be the instrument of his destruction because we WILL NOT VOTE FOR HIM!!!! And we need to let the GOP know this.

The overwhelming support and enthusiasm in the Democratic race.

When the GOP and state delegates realize this they will be looking for someone who can win against the Dems. And with some luck, alot of hard work, and a speech in a setting Ron Paul was made for, we may very well pull this one out. ITS NOT OVER, ITS NOT OVER. THIS REVOLUTION HAS JUST BEGUN!!!!! We need to keep Ron Paul in this for the duration. If you ask yourself why stand aginst such insurmountable odds....Just Remember The ALAMO!!!!!

There are over 800 people on the Grassroots section right now. 800... but apparently everyone would rather hear the latest gossip or take a meaningless poll or digg something. I guess everyone is content to just sit the rest of this out and use this forum to catch up on the latest news. :(

The Texas primary if March 4, if he loses his home state with 140 delegates where he has the best chance at winning, well I dont even want to think about it. He needs a boost before Texas, something to rally to troops, March 6 is too late.

EDIT: Buts its almost acedemic now, 800 people online and all they want to do is catch up on the news and digg shit.

It will be another failure of a money bomb. We will bring in 1M max, but if we have an extra two weeks to plan, we can probably double that amount. Although, if we do it early and give the money to win Texas, the result could be even greater...

Yeah, I think I like the earlier date better. It would fit the theme of winning Texas, which would bring in a ton of money. It will also be relatively easy to beat McCain in Texas, if we focus on immigration.

A million would be great!!! Its not meant to be a TeaParty. We need something to get everyone back in the game. An ALAMO Moneybomb will get people focused on Texas where Ron has the BEST chance to win and with 140 delegates it will be a whole new ball game. A million boost with everyone working together to win Texas would be great for the Grassroots and deal Ron back into this election. We also need to let everyone know THAT WHICH MATTER MOST.... WE ARE STILL HERE!!! And we are not going anywhere!!! :D

EDIT: And if we don't then we are no better than those so called "Live Free Or Die" New Hampshirites that voted Insane McCain!!!

No, we are still trying to get people on board. But there are other threads talking about which state we have the best chance on winning and Texas and Washington are the top two. Here is the thread:

Well it would be nice if we got some kind of concensus from the Grassroots, to get those people with the skills and connections to set up the site, make the flyer, and contact those who can help us get the word out, etc.

I think it is a poor subject. Stopping the Iraq war would be better 70% of the American people are against the war. Just the graphics would have enormous visual effects and make people see what the MSM is not showing us. It is still the #1 issue and will be until it is over. War with Iran is on our doorstep and reports of the cables being knocked out of most of middle eastern countries except Israel needs investagating. Russia is making noise and forming alliances with Iran. The People in this country need to see the victims of WAR!!! The draft is on our doorstep and our children are at risk. This comment is not made to be offensive it's just my 2 cents I think the Alamo would be ok for a Mini-Bomb. But the Iraq war is the issue of our childrens lives and can pull voters from all spectrums. The dems will not stop the war

It is great idea. But three things have to happen before our spirits are again at the levels of the Tea Party:

1) We need to hear from Ron Paul, his honest assessment of where we are, what he will do to make difference in the upcoming primaries and what we need to do.

2) The professional campaign staff needs to be shaken up and new more effective crew, the best among the grassroots need to be brought in. The sabouteurs from NH, Alaska and other big disappointments need to be out. How can one expect us to pull the oars harder than ever, while the few weasels are busily drilling the holes in the ship. Not many are going to pull.

3) Grassroots vote monitoring needs to be organized for the remaining states, with local observer teams at the randomly selected locations (not known to anyone in advance), where they will count all Ron Paul votes as well as totals for the entire day of voting. The reason for this is the same as for #2 -- the doubt that votes have been and will be stolen again saps the morale as much as the treachery from within the campaign.

Once these steps (or something as dramatic and substantial) are taken, our spirit will rise again beyond what it was back in December 2007 and we can easily break the Tea Party donation record. One cannot keep doing the same and expect different outcome. We can't win elections by losing every encounter.
