How to win the convention!

With Mitt Romney dropping out, soon Mike Huckabee will drop out, because he is broke, and it will be down to Ron Paul and John McCain at the conventions, both nationally and by state. This means that Ron Paul can pick up the abandoned delegates from all the other candidates, as well as having his own un-elected supporters get elected to become delegates in place of those who don't show up for the other candidates.

Please, please, PLEASE, go to your local convention. Find out when it is, go to it, and ask them if there are any vacancies you can fill. THERE WILL BE VACANCIES! We can get FREE delegates through this process.

The race isn't over til' it's over. We're still in it. And it's coming down to John McCain vs. Ron Paul. Let the Dark Horse cometh!

Note: The state conventions will be held before the national convention. We can gain delegates at both! So please, don't assume that you can't get involved just because the states have already had their primaries. Inform yourself and your local Ron Paul meetups, so that we can be pro-active until the very last day. We've really got a shot to win this, because of how much the conservatives hate John McCain. Ron Paul is a die hard conservative and could easily steal those votes from McCain. Don't give up yet! Get out and go to those conventions!

Are you sure we can get delegate positions in every state by filling vacancies? I thought petitions had to be signed with X number of confirmed registered Republican signatures.

If it is true, we need to send an email to EVERY meetup group to make sure anyone who is free shows up at their state convention.
