Despite Paul's lowgrade performance on Super Tuesday, the announcement of Romney bowing out really lifted my spirits. I imagine this is an attrition nomination, where low resources/votes will cast candidates in doubt and make then opt out.
Ron Paul is a fighter. He's fought for this country for X amount of years, and I really hope to God he has the tenacity to continue the GOP bid in the name of his country and the forefathers he proudly represents.
Conservatives don't like the prospect of McCain or Huckabee in the White House (well, the Rush crowd anyway). Romney was a decent fallback, but with him gone, their hopes are stirred.
We shouldn't lose faith in Ron Paul. I had serious doubts yesterday but this fight will hopefully continue. Let's see how God's plan unfolds in the next week.
