If it is you can do far more good by getting 3-4 people who will volunteer to be delegates then going out and doing lit drops, signs, ect ect.
I wish I had known a little better how the system worked, but this is a learning experience for everyone.

Wisconsin seems to be democratic, most people i know are turned off at the mere mention of the word "republican". I don't see RP doing to well here due to the fact he is not mentioned in my local newspaper or other newspapers from Chicago and Milwaukee, and he is blacked out on the local news and the national news. SE Wisconsin(most of the population) will prolly be dominated by McCain, Ron Paul could actually do well in the SW of the state and maybe even the NW. I'm still waiting on signs from the RP store to put up around my city.

first time poster, long time lurker..

i think Ron Paul might do better in the fox valley/green bay area. we've got some media coverage in the newspaper, but it is pretty rare. Dr. Paul also seems to be the only one with signs/ bumper stickers besides obama.

I'm in central Wisconsin. I don't see any signs for anyone on bumper sticker or anything. In fact, I think we're the only ones with a yard sign -- Ron Paul, of course!.

Has anyone ever bought an ad in the paper for Ron Paul?

i haven't seen any ads in the newspaper here, but of course, i don't get much of my information from newspapers. that's what the internet is for. i have heard a lot of hillary or obama ads on the radio. i heard one of each within 10 min of driving today.

whether its a primary or a caucus doesn't matter... there will still be county conventions right?

There is a caucus in every county, and make sure that you are a member of the Republican Party and attend. This is where the delegates are selected.

The delegates are locked into the candidate who wins their congressional district for at least the first vote at the national convention, but you can still serve a good purpose at the national convention even if you can't vote for Dr. Paul.

For the long time lurker, get some signs to put up over town! That'll get people informed and bring down the gap between BushMac and Huckster!

we actually do have signs around town. people recognize ron paul's name, but they don't actually know who he is. we also do have people canvassing, but it's really cold to do that right now.

Bitterly cold!

Yesterday morning it was -3 with -40 wind chill.

Could hardly breathe let alone canvass.

We need to get the Milwaukee County GOP Anti-McCain Affidavit sent in to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for printing right away... People across the state still take that paper, and it will get the word out to at least NOT vote for McCain... You can also submit your own articles to the local papers in your town, and the Onion... While the Onion is more for spoof shit, they are based in Milwaukee, and will likely print an article about Ron Paul if they have one submitted.
