Hello,

I am a registered republican and voted for Ron Paul without any problems on Tuesday. Except for one little thing, which I didn't even think was of any concern:

When I put my home address into the lavote.net website to find my designated polling place, the web site could not find the polling place. My only option was to start putting in random addresses on the boulevard right near my house. I quickly found a usable address and the web site gave me a polling place nearby.

When I went to that polling place, my name was not on a list. I would have to leave and go find my designated polling place. I complained and said I had no luck in finding it as my address was not usable on lavote.net. The lady said that's ok, you can vote provisionally. Just fill out this pink little envelope and everything will be fine.

That seemed easy enough. I simply filled out my name and info on the envelope, voted for Ron Paul like normal, and they put my ballot in the envelope I filled out (for provisional voting) and it was done, and all looked legit.

Then I came across this video:

Now my question is: what is so bad about voting provisionally? Why has my vote probably been compromised? What happened in Louisiana?

I appreciate the info.
