If Ron Paul does not get the nomination, he will run third party/independent.

*Not a Troll* I still have high hopes for getting the nomination :D

Nice find! :)

Just a shame that the FEC had to sit on the Q4 info for all the candidates for as long as they did.

It looks as though running as a republican (obviously winning the nomination would be better but its not happening) is just so that ron gets his name and positions on the subjects out to everyone, obviously to get to a convention and a speech with a huge tv audience would be ideal.....after that he'll have as good a shot running 3rd party to win the GE as whoever does get the repub nomination..THIS THING AINT OVER AT ALL

Awesome video. That's the kind of bonus free advertising we get from donating so much cash to the campaign. Makes me want to send him more $$ and go farther into debt. Go Ron Paul!

Cavuto should go on the Daily Show. Jon Stewart interviewed Wallace last night and tried to get him to answer a lot of questions about the network but he just kept on making jokes and avoiding the questions. Cavuto seems like he'd be more willing to talk about the issues.

After Tuesday I was thinking we would start to see more favorable mentions after the MSM marginalized him and felt he was no longer a threat.

+1776, Don Luskin, the guy in the video, is RP's Economic Advisor!

Don Luskin Named Economic Advisor to the Ron Paul 2008 Presidential Campaign

“Ron Paul’s economic plan is the real thing… not just a band-aid”

ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – Newly appointed Ron Paul economic advisor, Donald L. Luskin, issued the following statement about Dr. Paul’s proposed comprehensive economic revitalization plan:

“Ron Paul’s economic plan is the real thing – a plan. It’s not just a band-aid designed to ‘stimulate’ the economy in an election year. It’s a fundamental agenda for real and lasting change, making the US economy more vibrant and competitive, and removing barriers to advancement for all Americans.”
Donald L. Luskin is Chief Investment Officer for Trend Macrolytics LLC and contributing editor to the National Review Online and SmartMoney.com. He is also a frequent guest on CNBC, and the author of two books: Index Options and Futures: The Complete Guide and Portfolio Insurance: A Guide to Dynamic Hedging.

Mr. Luskin is available for interviews regarding Congressman Paul’s economic policies.

Congressman Paul’s comprehensive economic revitalization plan can be found online at: www.RonPaul2008.com/Prosperity

NO! There will be no time for third party AFTER the convention!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gYF_K5p38E

And what if McCain and Huckabee do a deal? VP spot for Huckabee in exchange for Huckabee's delegates? No convention, and possibly no time to run third-party. We have to do it SOON!

It WASN'T Faux News, it was Faux Business Network. It's a brand new channel, so they have no viewership yet. It probably just doubled for them having mentioned Dr Paul. Murdoch's no fool. Increase viewers up to profit zone by tempting us with mentions of RP, without actually jeopardizing his scheme to steamroll us on the grander scale.

And Cavuto had Peter Schiff, RP's other economic advisor on the day before.
http://www.europac.net/Schiff-FBN-2-04-08_lg.asp

From that interview:
"He's the only candidate that doesn't need any economic advice; he should be advising the other candidates." --Peter Schiff

Response:
"He (Ron Paul) is a smart guy, as are you Peter." --Neil Cavuto

I've bumped this thread up a few times now but this interview has such a good atmosphere to it that I think it really needs to be spread far and wide. Nothing about being a long-shot, no accusations of this or that, just an honest appraisal and almost an appeal to take a second look at Ron Paul for those that don't know all that much about him. What say we send this to all the Meetup groups and whatnot that we can?

This is great.

I SO BADLY do not want this to be over. He has to run as a 3rd party.

I live in a small town of 17,000 people. I did not see a sign on Tuesday when we voted for any other Presidential candidates, but Ron Paul signs were all over the place.

On the street I live on, I had a small sign in my yard, but three houses down from me a guy put a huge Ron Paul Revolution banner, and I had no idea they supported Paul. We have a big open field across from my polling place, and there was another huge Revolution signs along with a bunch of smaller ones. And I saw Ron Paul signs in shop windows and some big 4' x 8' signs on the main road through town for the last two months.

We just need more time and more effort to let this thing grow. Imagine where we started and how much it has grown. If that same growth could keep happening there is a real chance for a third party, especially if Clinton gets the nod over Obama.

But I just don't want it to end. I'm proud that so many younger people have chosen Paul because of what he stands for -- small government and freedom -- over a media darling like Obama who has the right appearance and speaking abilities but whose policies are vacant.
