Giuliani 34.0% chance to win Rep. nomination
F. Thompson 31.5%
Romney 20.2%

Paul 4.7%
Huckabee 1.5%
Tancredo 0.7%

While RP is still far from the front of the pack, he is at the top of the "second tier" and getting ready to knock out McCain, who has been devastated by his unholy alliance w/Ted Kennedy (despite the MSM blackout on this). I trust this "free market" approach to gauging public opinion more than scientific or internet polls. What does it tell us? Basically, good going guys, but lots more work to do.

This is HUGE! although most people don't realize it.

He's about to pass McCain.

BTW, this just happened.

Maybe hiring Rachel did it. :D

Intrade is widely cited in the MSM. Once RP gets up to 5% it's hard to call him a longshot anymore, especially since there are so many Republican candidates far below that and there's no clear frontrunner.

So yeah, this is big. Might also indicate some confidence in a good Ames showing.

And remember, folks: we're still in August. Most people still have never heard of Ron Paul and don't know what he's about. This will all change in time.
