Now that Super Tuesday is over and I casted my Vote for Dr. Paul. I am changing my party affiliation back to Independent. I can't stand to be associated with this current republican party or for that matter the democratic party.
Anyone else doing the same?

That's my plan

Why? You can't change a damn thing as an Independent. It is not the Republican Party that is bad, it is the neocon rulers in the party that is bad. Ron Paul has been a Republican for almost all of his life. You find yourself feeling dirty by being in his company?

To change this country, you need to work within a major party. You need to become active in your local GOP by setting the local initiatives and working to get Ron Paul Republicans elected in your area.

I'm glad I'm in a state that me or any member of my family(seeing as I can't vote) don't have to be bound to a party.

Please, please please participate in your local state conventions and attempt to score delegates before switching parties.

Ron always says, the party lost its way. The only way that will change is if we do something about it. The first time I voted, I was registered as Independent. This was my 2nd time voting, but as a Republican. Not sure what I will do yet... guess I'll wait and see what happens in the next election.

After Feb 12, and I've cast my vote for Ron Paul, I am changing to Independent. I've been a republican since I could first vote, and I've gotten bamboozled every time. I've not seen anything good come out of the GOP since it was hijacked by the NeoCons. While we the supporters of Ron Paul are registered Republicans, we represent a different kind of republican that those in power (and the sheeple who follow them). We are the old school republicans, the RON PAUL REPUBLICANS. If RP gets the nomination, then I'll consider coming back to the GOP...

I'm out like trout.
