42 sounds like enough to secure 4th place. McCain has , what, 700? It's over. The fat lady has sung. The dream is dead. Pray Hillary loses the D ticket and we can vote Obama.

She won't.

I know. It'll be Hillary 2008 - 2016 then Jeb Bush 2016 - 2024 then Chelsea 2024 - etc etc.

What a country. Let's start some more wars to spread democracy.

When is the convention? Will there be enough time after the convention to start an independent run?

you ever hear of a brokered convention? McJackass still needs 400-500+ more delegates to secure the nomination. Oh BTW only sheep and trolls vote for Osama Bama, so take your ass somewhere else because nobody here is voting for that JOKE!

Oh, one other thing... This is going to be a brokered convention folks. McCain will never get the required delegates to secure the nomination before the convention.

You know, I've had this thought for awhile. Chelsea will be over 40 in 2024. Behind her, there's gonna be some next generation Bushes and God forbid Chelsea has any kids.

romney and huckabee arent dropping anytime soon, i havent heard anything like that. and the simple fact is we only have a possible 42 delegates, and 0 states won, even if there is a brokered convention, dont you need to win 5 states to participate? jeeeez

One of the more interesting aspects of this primary season is the number of state conventions that will be help in May to vote for national delegates. A lot of water can travel under the bridge between now and then.

It is hillarious, mind-boggling, and depressing that people who support Ron Paul would eventually end up voting for Obama or Hillary.

Simple. With candidates dropping out of the race between local caucuses and their respective state conventions, those delegates are free to vote their conscience in May. The conservatives patently hate McCain which is good. I see this race for the GOP nomination as a free for all that's just getting underway.

no kidding. I hate all this crossing party lines uniting bullshit. To cross party lines and compromise means--or should mean--you are compromising your values or you never had anyone to begin with. When parties make compromises we get wars and social programs, i.e. MORE GOV'T!

I true Ron Paul supporter that understands the message would not vote for Obama or Hillary. Those 2 would enslave us even more. Sure they can sugar code it with empty words like "change", but it's the same old same old. Hell, Obama voted for an extension of the patriot act........

Phuk that! We want our freedom!! Ron Paul or bust!

This campaign is going exactly as I envisioned it. It's going great. I have worked 8 hours aday for over a year now for Ron Paul, and I am optimistic as ever. If you'd stop and think, you'll notice we are winning. But of course a lot of you don't understand what the goal is, you think it's winning a presidency. I look forward to putting in 40+ hours every week for Ron until this is over.

Should someone vote for anyone affiliated with the CFR or SPP they are either enemies of the American People or as smart as a dog. Obama is in the CFR, Hillary is a Bilderberg and a Walmart gal. Anyone who suggest voting for these people should be banned from this site.

If you believe in what Ron Paul says... you will vote for him as a write in regardless of what happens. Don't people realize that Hillary was decided to be our president long ago? There is NO stopping it within our current corrupt system, and there has never been. You cannot do legitimate things within a corrupt system.

Do you people understand what this campaign is about yet?? At the end of this, we get our country back, NOT win an election. You GET IT YET? This is a soft war, an information war, and hopefully it doesn't go hot, but many of us are ready for that regardless. Wake up people, wake the fuck up. Some of us will die free fighting for freedom, the rest will die slower as slaves.

I stopped paying federal taxes 3 years ago as I cannot give money to people who then go and murder people with it. For if I do, then I am a murderer and my god will no longer look at me with purity. I do pay my state taxes as my state does not murder people.

I await for the confrontation and will die free for freedom should I need to. I'm not playing, and neither are they. Wake up people, wake up.

What are ya? some kind of Patriot or something? =>

Somebody clone this person. Fast.

do we or do we not need to win 5 states to participate in a brokered convention, if it happens, but looks like mccain is on his way to pick up the needed number. = /

Thats right! We've got the advantage of spinning things in our favor here when we canvass.
