Yesterday was voting day for us here in Georgia. I've been busting my butt for Ron Paul ever since I discovered him early in May of 2007. Donating, sign waving, canvassing, the works. Husband pretty much lets me do my thing...

Well, as of yesterday morning, hubby STILL didn't know which Republican he was going to vote for. I would consider him typical to the average voter. I try to keep the general attitude that each person can vote for whoever they think is best, but he was well aware of my fondness for RP. He tends toward the neocon on the war issue.

So yesterday he comes home from the polls and says, "By the way, I voted for Ron Paul because I think the Republicans are definitely going to lose to the Democrats this year, and I didn't see how it could hurt anything to vote for Ron."

Not that it won us much more than 3% in GA, but it was a victory on the homefront.
