Let's say Obama or Clinton wins the presidential election, and somehow magically things stop getting worse in this country. Would Ron Paul have a chance against such an incumbent if he ran again? I guess what I mean is, if it weren't for the unpopular war in Iraq and all the liberals who hate the war, I doubt Ron Paul would be doing as well as he is. I WISH he would have gotten this much attention because lots of people are actually thinking about the role of government in our lives, but I've spoken to some ex-democrats and they say they want to get out of Iraq but find Ron Paul's stance on abortion and free markets and etc. "questionable." This bothers me and tells me that it is only anger at the current administration which is really helping Ron Paul out. I wish that more people in this country really thought about and understood freedom, but I don't think that they do. Am I wrong?
