Well, this is really the end of the Republican party. Peggy Noonan is on MSNBC pimping John McCain. She says that "he has done it right" with regard to immigration--that he understands that we don't want comprehensive immigration, and that he's backed off. Specifically, she says that McCain's approach to, "okay, we'll secure the borders--ending the crisis for now," and then we'll take it up later, is the way to go.

She has clearly lost what little is left of her mind!

I think a little bit too much kool-aid. Remember that she was a Reagan speech writer. This just blows my mind. She said that McCain needs to come out and tell people WHY he's the conservative choice. That would certainly take some wordsmithing. Maybe she's looking for a job. I don't know what's gotten into her.

Just a month ago she was lamenting the end of the Republican party.

No sheep response...The Democrats want illegals to vote the Republican business owners want illegals to work. The only people who want illegal immigration to stop are those who are paying the highest taxes to maintain services sucked up by the non-payers. Apparently those voters did not come out in enough numbers to make a difference and now you are witnessing media spin to tell us what to think.
