Hitwise, which collects data on websites, has a political campaign center (http://www.hitwise.com/political-data-center/) with metrics collected for the various campaigns. Most of this should be no surprise to any of us, but I feel this is probably more accurate than the Alexa-type data that you may have seen due to their collection methods.

There's some other neat stuff around there too. Enjoy.

What this tells me is that theres broad support on the net for Shrillary, Obama, and Edwards. Thats no surprise since they are the top three candidates for the Party most pundits think will win the White House. Shrillary and Obama also get an inordinate amount of old Media coverage.

This also tells me the supposed top tier is generating no enthusiasm at all. Rudy McRomney combined are not generating the traffic Ron Pauls sits is generating.

The RP campaign needs to get more effective at soliciting online donations. Where are the donation drives?
