I remember as recently as november he was TRAILING pretty much EVERYBODY. HE couldnt raise any money and could barely get any good news coverage at all.

Where did his support come from?

The media started promoting him on his first win. I remember going WTF why are they calling McCain the FrontRunner!

He doesn't have any support.

The word went out from the neocons that he was to be the prince in waiting.

And he won all the blue states that the Republicans will lose in the general election.

Big deal!

But it shows you that both parties are managed by the same people.

McCains campaign turned around after he fired and hired a whole new campaign staff. Source. (http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20080205.wprimaryibbitson05/BNStory/usElection2008/home) Ron Paul needs to shake up his staff and get some professionals to help him win this thing!

He hired the same people that won Bush the election.

The people RP should have hired.

Because of McCain's support of Israel, THAT'S the sole reason for his "sudden" front runner status.

Conservative Republiccans HATE him, and so do I. Perhaps he'll keel over before the convention....hey, I can dream.

He's being favoured as he is perceived as being the best chance the Republicans have at besting the Democrats.

HA!
HAHHAHAHAHHHAAH!!!!!!!

WTF?

No... you're serious?

:blink :Blink

Really?

With 70%+ of the nation still being anti-war?

With NO economic plan to speak of as the whole thing collapses?
And he's gonna win?

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!

He might get the nomination, but there's no chance in @#^& that he'll get elected.

Ahhhh....yessss.

Those polls that are always a little off.

He couldn't win against Hillary or Obama in a cake raffle.

Then again, they wouldn't hold back on his Senate record about POW/MIA's. I am still wondering why no one has bought a couple national commercial ad spots to show those Vets and their story.

My thoughts exactly. No money and no grassroots support and yet he wins. How? A boatload of free and uncritical media coverage. The MSM knows that conservatives hate him and that it will be a cakewalk for Hillsa.

He'll miracliously be one of the candidates that you can't find any body that actually supported or voted for him. Yet gets the nod. I know not one person in real life that supports McCain.
