1. This is stage one in a long drawn out battle. We are attempting to overturn one hundred years of propaganda. One hundred years of fascism in this country.

2. The campaign staff for Ron Paul are not party elites. This is a boon and a bane. While we have a staff that are honorable (mostly), they do not have access to the insiders that determine several key factors. Interviews, Invitations (sent last minute), etc... The staff that Ron Paul put together is a great team, yet very in-experienced when dealing with the monster pile of bull shit that is Washington politics.

3. MSM. They have been fucking us since day one. Someone high up in the chain said to torpedo the campaign from the get go. They have tried absolutely everything including libel and lies. They have propped up every negative and ignored every positive. They have given other candidates as much as ten times as much coverage (free). At every stage of the process they have tried to screw us over.

4. Racist newsletters. The timing of the letters was done by the MSM to do the maximum amount of impact before the voting began. Soon enough to the election that no real counter attack could be made. They made the story as large as they could to distract as much as possible.

5. Billionaire whats his name..... no need for comment on this one.

6. Party politics. The people who are currently the Republican insiders have very lucrative positions to defend. We are fighting against the bullshit theft that is their whole existence. These people have done everything they can to fuck us.

7. Old people. They do not go online and do research for themselves. They do not think about what the MSM is spoon feeding them. They are sheep. They need to die. They are ruining this country and they don't care because they will be dead when the bill is due.

This does not mean that Ron Paul cannot win. That means that we do not have a majority of delegates. We are behind McCan't, Romulain, and Huckelberry. We still have delagates though.

The question is one of strategy. If Ron Paul goes third party then he has to do everything he just did all over again. A lot of states have rules against him being on the ballot in the general after not winning the primary. You may garner 19%-25% of the vote with a third party run. There have been very few third party wins of the Presidency. It is not a wise move if you look at history.

If you stay in the Republican party until the end and keep fighting you may garner a few more delegates. Depending on how things go you could be in Second place or Third place in delegates at the Convention. If that occurs there may be a place for Ron in the VP slot.

The question is could we in the Ron Paul movement deal with a vote for McCain or Romney if Ron Paul is VP?

So it all boils down to should Ron torpedo the Republican party by running third party and sealing the death of the Republican party in the General election? Or should he stay in and go for the VP slot.

option 3.

Kindly bow out, endorse noone.
Begin implementing a bottoms up approach for change within the party. Make use of his campaign chest and internet support to begin campaigning for congressional and senate seats around the country. Throw his energy into the fights we as a movement can win with Ron Paul as our head (AKA Howard Dean and the DFA)

Unless you have plenty of ginseng power shakes, you and I will be one of them in a few decades.

I hope at that point that I will still have logic and reason to guide me in my old age.
