Is it national obscurity day?

Please describe the situation; not everyone knows what you're referring to.

He was interviewing random people on the street showing them pictures of the candidates and asking them who they were. Most of the people were clueless. At the end of the segment, Leno says "you get the government you deserve". I just thought it was really ironic.

I assumed that is was the random people segment.

Yep, we deserve the government we get. However, those people who don't pay attention and don't care don't matter much to me. It's those who actually vote who really get to me

He showed it to a lady and she didn't have a clue. He gave her the clue, the candidate with 2 first names and even gave her the 2 names to choose from. She said Paul Ron?!?

Everyone says this. But if it's true, then why are WE stuck with this crap? :(

Amen brother... The funniest thing about the whole situation is that some of them actually do vote. They vote their party, completely oblivious to what their candidate stands for.
