Considering that they start the article off with:

"Giuliani's favorable image holding steady with Republicans"

There's no way to take this seriously.

I have a hard time believing those numbers. Simply because as a Conservative I can`t fathom voting for Guiliani. He is not a Conservative, he should be running on the Democratic ticket. Ditto for Romney, and McCain is not much better.

Ron Paul is the most Conservative candidate in the field, period. Unfortunately for America, neoconservatives are allot closer to the Democratic party than RP is,even though they try to make people believe he is some sort of closet Democrat, its all spin.

One thing is certain, as long as the two party's can keep Americans engaged in the false Right vs Left paradigm, nothing will change. That of course is what both party's want most.

That poll happened before 2nd debate had any impact.

most American's are ignorant, and don't even pay attention to politics. It is all name recognition right now. They called 1,000 people randomly across the US. What are the odds that you go up to average Joe on the street and they even know anyone beyond the top 3?

That is why getting Paul in MSM is so important. Someone mentioned it on here, but we are really in an internet bubble. I am not saying this can't be changed, but it is going to take more than us voting in online polls to make a difference. We are going to have to find ways to get RP in the national spotlight. I would also note that this is happening, both organically and through our concerted efforts. So keep it up!

I am going to post a thread under Strategies for Success about the top things you can do for Ron Paul, and try to get them all in one convenient place for people to go. It possibly will have one or 2 things that should be done every day.

I worked for Gallup years ago. Their methodology is flawless. They're the number one polling organization in the world.

Some consolation is the fact that it was before the second debate.

This just means we need to work harder.

The reason Ron Paul doesn't do well in the polls is because the polls do not include him. There are 23 states with polls and he is only in 5 of them, and they are not the states he would do well in. He is never in the Texas polls. All the other candadates are in at least 11 polls. As usual, "they" will do everything in their power to keep Ron Paul from getting nominated.

I think this is the biggest story of the election, that Ron Paul is not included in the Polls, but you don't even hear about it, even in the Alternative News. It should be front page news.

This poll took place before the debate, so it really is out of date. Its not scientific because they only call land lines. The only poll in the near future that really matters is the Iowa straw poll and that is because real people go out and vote.

That's not relevant in this case. He was included in this poll.
