well.. in Grand Forks it's flat, cold and windy as fuck for 6 months and smells like God took a giant shit in your back yard.. other than that's it's nice..

but seriously .. the College Hockey is awesome and we have CHIPPERS (chocolate covered potato chips!!!)

Actually, Bismarck isn't that bad. Sure, Grand Forks and Fargo are pretty much armpits of the country, but in the winter, we often get Chinook winds that warm us up for a while in the winters. It gets bitterly cold for periods, but our summers are very warm and the falls are beautiful. There's great fishing here, too, and our violent and property crimes are next to none.

It's not a bad state, but I don't know how many opportunities for jobs and stuff there are around here.

Oh yeah, chippers! And the hockey is definitely great. Go Sioux! (I graduated from UND and then moved to the tiny town of Binford for a few years before moving back to WY).
