While I agree with this, I also believe money bombs are very effective.

When one common goal is set, people feel pressured to be a part of it.

Sitting there watching the widget climb as thousands of people participate, it just makes people give more than they normally would - I think.

True, but people dont get as excited or motivated to donate everyday. Moneybombs are effective at bringing in more money than just daily donations. I vote for a moneybomb.
