Wow, an actual ARTICLE WITHOUT SPIN. I wrote a comment praising them for upholding their journalistic integrity. Perhaps a nice email or two for the Associate Producer?

"Ron Paul ad tells Iowans to take part in straw poll
WASHINGTON (CNN) — Texas Rep. Ron Paul released his first political ad on Tuesday, aiming to reach out to potential participants in Iowa’s upcoming straw poll.
“Ron Paul has never voted to increase taxes, he refused his congressional pension and has never voted to raise his congressional pay,” an announcer said in the commercial. “Now he’s running for president to secure our borders, to stop runaway spending, to protect our liberties and save our constitution.”
At the end of the ad, the announcer encourages people to “be a part of it” by participating in Saturday’s Ames straw poll, an event which has taken on “make-or-break” status for many GOP hopefuls in recent presidential cycles.
The commercial will run in Cedar Rapids, Sioux City and Des Moines throughout the weekend. A spokesman for the campaign said Paul will release a second ad along with several radio commercials over the next few days.
