DON'T FORGET (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=91673)!

We have more than just ONE HORSE in this race!

There are eleven Ron Paul Republican Congressman running right now, ONE AWESOME SENATOR, two govenors and a statesman or two.

IMHO,
WE NEED MORE SENATORS.

These people can Filabuster and stop ANYTHING dead in its tracks.

This is where we wil get our liberties back, people.
Stopping the laws that don't uphold the constitution, and introducing bills that TAKE BACK LIBERTY!

Start thinking about winning more than just the presidency!

:D :D :D

Ps - I would also like to see some Govenors bring suit against the Federal Government since states are supossed to make only gold and silver legal tender, but have their arm twisted by the "legal tender" laws implemented by The Fed.

Anyone got info on THAT?

Why did I think we had over 40 congressional candidates?

We do... actually there are a lot more than that too. it just depends how many of them you want to show. For example, maybe the people with the worst sites aren't added to the list

Are any of these in Maryland? If so, when is the first time I can vote for them?

I am actualy looking forward to AFTER this election when the House\Senate becomes the PRIMARY DISCUSSION ON THIS BOARD!

The presidency is way over rated, imho.
It would be a great capstone.

But lets work on where the REAL action is ... in the legislative branch!

Alright, can someone walk me through what I need to do in order to vote for them and when? This will be the first year I have ever voted (I'm 20). Will I be eligible to vote for all 4 or is it only those people in those districts that can vote for him?

We need to:

1) Get a relatively small group (10-15) of well-spoken people to work on a "Ron Paul Republican" platform,
2) Release drafts to the community (here) to take ideas for changes, and
3) Once a final is released, get these guys to pledge to it.
4) Most importantly, if they get elected and fail to uphold it, theyyyyy're out!

It'd be better if the community all participated in #1, but it'd be chaos. This would allow some structure, but still let the community get involved so we don't become bureaucratic.

One way or another, we need some organization, or neocons will slip through and we won't get anything accomplished.
