How much do you want to bet that they are spliting up Ron Paul's votes between Paul, Guiliani and Thompson.

Obviously, the elderly were out in force and forgot that they dropped out

I don't believe this for one minute, obviously they are stealing Ron Paul's votes.

Can you substantiate that?

He's now beating Thompson and Giuliani

I have an easier time believing that they couldn't reprogram the machines fast enough over all those elderly write-ins. Hanging chads anyone?

I'm hearing on RPR Radio that this is the case in MANY States and even worse is that RP is being left OFF of the ballots as well. WTF?

Well, I go to school in Johnson county, at Central Missouri. I voted in Dallas county back home.

I am looking at the county-by-counter results and it's kind of disheartening.

I personally distributed at least 300 Ron Paul flyers in Warrensburg. Only 204 people voted for Paul in Johnson County. That means my 'College Libertarians' group was about 5% of the people in the county who voted for Paul.

Ugh. That's not a very good return on our effort :(.

I guess we did better than in Dallas County, where I was one of just 99 votes.

I can't believe how bad we did in Missouri, not even 5%? I'm so sad :(

No. The ballots are printed months in advance. Why print off millions more ballots every time a candidate drops?

RP got 12.1% in Douglas County (my county). We worked hard for this, but we didn't really get started until mid-January. We ran a few newspaper ads, lots of radio ads in the last week, and handed out hundreds of DVDs and thousands of slimjims, made a few thousand phone calls and canvassed most of the homes in the county seat (Ava). Had we started with a full-on effort last fall, the result would have been much better.
