This is the headline when you do a google search on Ron Paul and then select the news section. Click the last hour and this is the headline. It is correct when you select the link in saying that he's republican but still....

Wow, the Des Moines Register is one bad newspaper. First the immigration thing, and now this...

The hiring standards must be low for that newspaper.

I will give them the benefit of the doubt and allow the notion of this being a simple honest mistake.

I'm not sure about the honest mistake deal. This is the second in as many days. Nothing to email them about, but it is aggravating.

I wonder how much Rudy McRomney paid for that one?

It still says "Democrat" if you google it

This seems deliberate when considering the immigration thing too

What matters is how it came out in the PRINTED paper.

Perhaps a protest outside the Register by "Concerned Citizens for Accurate News Reporting" would create some buzz about the slander.

Write a note in a civilized manner and be done with it--whether it's a complaint or a compliment, keep the tone civil, and keep the note short and sweet.

Forget the marches, the demonstrations and the flowers and candy. These have no positive effect on the press that Ron Paul receives.
