On another forum (muzzleloadingforum), a former Fred supporter who is now supporting Mitt Romney because he's the lesser of the evils (this guy hates Ron Paul because he wants to war against fanatical Islam or, rather, have other people fight and die in his place) posted the following:
I read this today, and sadly with our choices it sums up my feelings, as it now crunch time.
We are in a bar and its closing time. Pick the best hooker available. Its Romney!
I responded with:
What a descriptive metaphor. It captures the political problem pretty well though. Lack of character -- "Gotta get some before the night is over, so I'll take whatever is available." That's just plain stupid, and is the reason we have such a bad case of PTDs in DC (Politically Transmitted Diseases).
I don't go to bars to pick up hookers.
