5th person to vote at my precinct today (El Dorado County)... according to the Diebold... and a vote for RP!

On a side note, I didn't have to show ID to vote? Seriously, any Joe Schmoe could walk in there and vote as someone else as long as that name existed on the ballot.

As a mater of fact, the precinct leader guy was telling the poll workers that they weren't supposed to check ID and assume everyone who signs their name was (and I can't remember the exact words, but it meant:) trustworthy.

I'd send my twin brother in there with my ID and ask them why "his name" was already signed when he hadn't voted yet... but that'd be fraud, and I don't like jail time for either of us. =D

My wife and I just voted for #17 on the ballot, Ron Paul... Had to double check my bubble, b/c McCain was right below Paul and wanted to make sure that my vote went to the right guy!

That's two votes for RP in Burbank, CA Precinct (Los Angeles County) :) We were #14 and #15 to vote Rep. in our precinct. Voting turnout was really low this morning.. three people were there voting democrat, and that was it. I'm guessing more people will show up after work.

There were no signs for any candidate anywhere near our polling location. I was rocking my Ron Paul shirt, but had to head on to work so I didn't get a chance to talk with anybody except for the poll workers.

It felt good for all of the hard work these past few months to pay off with casting my vote today. I look forward to seeing the results for L.A. and all of Cali tonight!

Silicon Valley could be fertile grounds for us.

Unfortunately, Google and all of its West Coast employees are all down in Disneyland today. There is something ironic about them all being in a dreamland riding a roller coaster. Hopefully, any RP supporter working at Google would have the foresight to have already sent in their votes by mail.

Also, it was very satisfying to have filled out a PAPER BALLOT! I will rage against even the smallest of machines.

God bless all you lovers of freedom. Even if we do not "win" today, there is no worry, as we have already won the important contest: the battle for our minds.

+2 in San Diego low turnout at my polling place. My husband and I were #8 and 9 on our ballots.

I had registered absentee but had decided to cast mine in person - so I got a provisional ballot and a special sequence number so that I can check the status by phone. All the ballots were paper ballots with no machines.

+1 Los Angeles - I also called my sister to make sure she was going out to vote for RP. She was on her way to the polls.

They told me I am supposed to keep the top portion of the ballot as a receipt. You should have kept yours.

Make sure you keep the top portion in case there are any counting problems.

2 votes this morning from the "Orange bubble"

We didn't use the bubble style ballots because they had each of the machines with the wheel that turns retrofitted with a little printer that prints out a little paper ballot. Mine said:
Paul, No, No, No, No, No, No, No :D

I doubt Paul will do well in my district. However, my husband was late home from work last night because the 5 freeway was jammed from everyone looking at the GIANT Ron Paul sign on an overpass on Irvine. For once, I will forgive the lookie loos.

Mail and absentee ballots typically are the last counted. Sometimes it takes up to a few days to tally those, and there is expected to be a high percentage of such ballots in California for this election.

Today I had three coworkers come up and tell me they voted RP. One who doesn't usually vote, one who was going to vote Romney, and one has been sympathetic to RP since hearing me talk him up. I have been working these guys for weeks.
Just three, but feels good., cause they made a point to tell me and they know how much I support him.
Also got my mom, and my wife for RP. Son is boycotting election. Damn teenagers. Just can't tell them anything.
I can only hope my canvassing yields similar numbers.
