Absolutely brilliant.
A Strong National Defense....why is that a bad thing?
It's a bad thing if you are for globilaization - he is the only candidate who stands for America.

I am tired of hearing the his Foreign Policy is dangerous. Dangerous for who? Oh, the UN...surely not for the USA.

It's possible. Wind turbines. Over a million of them could be built and placed along our shorelines. It would require a WW2 type effort, but it could put Americans back to work rebuilding our infrastructure. It's an amazing idea, and not Huckabee's.

Huckabee, knows a good thing when he hears it. When he hears the crowd response of clapping and other reactions to Ron Paul's message. Then he incorporates into his own message.

Mithridates
02-05-2008, 10:35 AM
Yeah, it's not that hard to become energy independent if there's a will to do it. Though Ron Paul is opposed to government programs to influence the free market, as president he has the ability to call a news conference with every major network at any time, and a simple press conference on changing one's lifestyle to a more environmentally-friendly one would do wonders. Buying smaller cars, asking people to get involved in municipal government to set something up like velib in Paris (and other European cities: that's the bicycle program where you rent bicycles but don't have to return them to the station where you got them from; instead you park it at the nearest station and somebody else can use it), etc. etc. Since making one's country energy independent is a patriotic thing to do, it's an easy sell and wouldn't cost the taxpayer a cent. Just keep bringing up the issue to keep it in the news, and eventually people will follow along.

If we eliminated federal subsidies then the price of gasoline would rise to a level in which we would have no other option but to make alternative energy a practical solution. Once the alternative energy choices are used at a large enough level, the price of oil comes as the demand shrinks and we have cheaper energy sources for all. Non-Intervention solves many more problems than it creates.

I am thinking the same thing.

If we get knocked out and back Huck to keep Mitt and McCain from winning. We can beat Huck in Western Sates.

On the plus side, at least mccain isn't going to win West Virginia.

Perhaps a stupid question / already answered:

Are the delegates able to not vote this time around?

You can just about bet the Huck people will be trying to get our votes.

I doubt Mitt or McCain would stand a chance with their attitudes.

I would rather see us back Huck as we can beat him. I don't want McCain to get this. Mitt either.
