I know a lot of you disagree with just about everything Kucinich does. But let's face it. We need more people in office like him. Especially when it comes to foreign policy and protecting individual rights. He might be a bit of a socialist but he has been one of Ron Paul's biggest allies. Chances are if there is a bill with two opposing votes those votes will be Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich.

According to this Kucinich is having trouble raising money for his re-election to congress.

Ron Paul needs all the allies he can get if he winds up getting re-elected to congress. Please support Kucinich's run like Kucinich has supported Ron Paul so many times before.

Ron Paul also needs help raising money for his congressional office. I guess these guys have been very busy with the presidential race.

Well of course Ron Paul comes first but hey if you have some to spare...

It'd be really cool if we could do just a Kucinich/Ron Paul money bomb and give a 50/50 donation or just however you want to split it... 25/75 5/95 etc...

As much as I like Dennis, his supporters haven't flocked to Paul so who cares at this point. Spend your money promoting Paul!!!

Any politician who carries the Constitution in his pocket, over his heart, is someone worth our support.

Any politician who carries the Constitution in his pocket, over his heart, is someone worth our support. Exactly!

As much as I like Dennis, his supporters haven't flocked to Paul so who cares at this point. Spend your money promoting Paul!!! Would you flock to Kucinich if he was more successful? I know I wouldn't. Paul is the man I agree with. Not Kucinich. But the fact is that he is part of the revolution. Like it or not. He is not a member of any secret society. He does not let corporations and lobbiests tell him how to vote. And he constantly votes with the constitution in mind (even if he seems to misinterpret a few amendments like the 2nd and the 10th)

And the best thing is he actually READS the bills he votes for. Which is why he voted against the patriot act.

If this movement is to continue we are going to need allies on both ends of the political spectrum. Unless you honestly think one day we will have a 100% libertarian congress. (dreaming much)

There will always be opposition in congress. At least make sure it's an opposition that remembers who it works for. Kucinich works for the people and he knows it.

I know a lot of you disagree with just about everything Kucinich does. But let's face it. We need more people in office like him.

Uh, no we don't.

Based on the same thinking, we need to send John McCain some money for his campaign? After all, I disagree with everything he stands for.

So I need more people in office, who I disagree with everything they stand for?

Uh, no. No. No.

We need more people in office, who stands for the things we agree with, thank you very much.

Not the other way around?

John McCain isn't constantly fighting for individual rights and for backing away from aggressive foreign policy and policing the world.

Ron Paul and Kucinich might be on other ends of the spectrum but they are constantly allies on some of the most important bills in the past decade.

Kucinich is a Ron Paul democrat. He is a part of the revolution and his service in congress will be valueable especially for teaching constitutional rights to the democratic side which just can't find themselves voting for a conservative.

Sorry, I don't give money or in-kind services to socialists. They already take enough from me involuntarily, through high taxes and social engineering programs designed to take away what I earn then give it to somebody who didn't earn it.

You think we are going to solve anything by ripping on every candidate who disagrees with our platform? Sorry but you guys have no idea how to get a movement to move forward. You need people on all sides of the political spectrum and the fact remains that Dennis Kucinich has been a valuable asset toward the freedom movement.

Unless we can get people from both sides of the spectrum to support the movement for more individual rights and less aggressive foreign policies this movement will be doomed to failure. You're never going to convince 100% of America to become libertarian.

So suck it up and drop the bariers on the political spectrum and accept there are democrats who are willing to support this movement if we simply open our arms to them. We need allies from anywhere we can get them if this movement is to succeed.

Unless you think the Bush "Go it alone" approach was a good idea.

A quick browse through Kucinich's issues pages ( http://www.dennis4president.com/go/resources/issues-library/ ) is enough to convince me never to give him a penny more of my money than his policies are already taking from me forcefully. Here are some gems from his Issues statements:

"When the private sector fails to provide jobs, the public sector has a moral responsibility to do so."

"In this mobile society, national control of guns just is necessary..."

"My goal is to combine this [minimum wage increase] with the creation of a truly universal single-payer health care system, universal free preschool, free college tuition at state colleges and universities, a public jobs program to restore our infrastructure..."

I have to give him credit for being more honest and open than most politicians, but he doesn't seem to care much for personal property and individual responsibility. He feels that it's ok to forcibly take away my personal property and freedoms when it furthers causes that he feels are important. I don't want to have anything to do with helping to move the country further in that direction.
