...well not really. But compared to "vote for me because I'm a woman," the guy who uses his religion as a weapon, double Mitt, the guy who betrayed Vietnam vets, and Mr. I never supported Iraq, but I sure as hell support nuking Iran and Afghanistan, I love Bush. Sure, it would be great if Paul got the nomination. I would jump all around town in joy. But let's face it. The system beat us. Now I'm not saying we can't still win this, but. At this point, if RP doesn' get the nomiation, I fully back President Bush, as even he would be better than any of these nutjobs. I am drop dead black and white serious.

Not I. Bush has been a disaster as President. He will go down in history as one of the worst Presidents ever.

If Ron Paul doesn't win the nomination, I will vote for the Constitution Party or Libertarian Party candidate.

Yes, of course. But think about it.

Bush would not, in his right mind, nuke Iran.
The rest would.

Bush would not go into Pakistan the way the others want to.
The rest would go in violently, and the same way as we went into Iraq.

Bush wouldn't take any any more freedoms than he's all ready taken away.
The others would take the Patriot Act and multiply it by fifteen.

Bush wouldn't dare corrupt this government more than he's all ready corrupted it.
The others certainly would go overboard.

Bush would be unsuccessful in the NAFTA plan, and I take his word for it when he says that it's amusing what people are saying what actually goes on in 'the meetings.'
The others would turn that plan into another EU on steroids.

Bush wouldn't raise the rate at which the economy is crashing at this point.
The others would make it ten times as worse, even though it's all ready horrible.

Get my point? :p And hey. At least with Bush, he's stupid enough so that we can see his real intentions :p

Actually, I believe he would. The Democrats winning in 2006 and their desire to send more troops and resources to Iraq in the "surge" prevented more of a focus on Iran - but Bush is completely crazy. If he could invade every country in the Middle East and get away with it, he would do it. He's a complete megalomaniac as far as I'm concerned.

? That doesn't really make sense. Bush is corrupt - bottom line - and he will do whatever he can get away with.

This would make sense if we didn't already know that Dubya has nothing to say about running the country. The elitists and builderberger run the fuckin world dude. There is no right or left, there is only truth and that's Ron Paul.

Look. All I'm saying is that he's stupid. He's stupid and weak enough to be a poor puppet. Get my point? I'd rather have Bush than someone like Clinton or Obama, because at least with Bush we can see right through him and know what he's thinking. And Bush damn well knows better than any other candidate that if we attack Iran, Russia will send nukes straight our way. He's smart enough to know that.

Are you kidding me?

The President who declared that the Constitution is just a G.D. piece of paper!

Just imagine how much worse the next person will be. Look. I'm not saying Bush was a great president. He was horrible. Worst one we've had... Yet. But the ones to come will be even worse. That is why I would rather have Bush than any of these nutcrackers. It's like France's revolution in 1781. They fought a revolution against an unfair social class and a horrible leader; Louis XVI, but wound up with an even worse leader after they fought; Napolean. So you might be saying now that Bush is horrible and should be tried for war crimes... But just wait until the next one. Then you'll be begging to go back to Bush.

I don't think Bush is stupid at all. I think it's an act that's designed to get the press to stop asking tough questions. Have ever tried asking a sophisticated question to a person who has to struggle to sling together coherent sentences? After awhile you just through up your hands and give up.

Several months ago I made a video that has sound bytes from the 2000 debates and some people have commented that Bush sounded smarter in how he talked and I think they're right. It's the only "Bush" video on Ron Paul's website so I guess it's Ron Paul approved.

George W. Bush has done more to damage freedom and the Constitution than any modern president. Most of the enthusiasm of the Revolution is a reaction to his administration.

You have got to be crazy! Bush has done all of this, and yes he would nuke Iran and go into Pakistan just the same way he has done all of this! What a useless thread. You need to grow up, and grow up quickly! Or, leave the forum. This is about Ron Paul, and our desire to change this country. You give up rather easily.

I feel as if I'm Ron Paul himself, and everyone is twisting my words... Really. Read what I wrote.

I didn't say I actually liked Bush. If you read my post, you would see that I was being sarcastic. What I was implying was that Bush would be better than any of the current presidential candidates, with the exception of Ron Paul.Again, if you think Bush is bad, wait until we get the, "vote for me because I'm a woman and I'm crying" jerk. You think Bush did a terrible job? Hell yes he did. He should be tried for war crimes. But just wait till Clinton gets in office. You'll be crying, then. If you think it's bad, now, with Bush, just wait. That's my point. Stop twisting my words, please.

Oh my G-d... Absolutely no one is understanding what I was saying. My G-d. Here. Let me completely re-state everything. Here:

If Ron Paul doesn't win the nomination, which I damn well hope he does, our country will turn Socialist. All of the other presidential candidates support this. Except for Gravel and Paul. Bush is only the beginning of the corruption. Just wait until the Clintons get back in, and we turn into a monarchy. My point is that two years from now, we'll probably be wishing to go back to the time that we are at now, rather than the time we will be in, two years from now. Why? In two years time, we will all have an RFID National ID Card, under surveillance wherever we go, etcetera. This is only the tip of the barrel, as far as I'm concerned. The corruption will get even greater, and greater, and greater as time progresses.

I understand what you're saying and fully agree that if Ron Paul doesn't become president then whoever takes Bush's place will screw up the country a lot more than he has, but Bush is still an idiot and I don't like him any better than any of the other jerks running for president. Just because they're gonna screw it up more doesn't mean that I like him any better.

You said in an earlier post that the others would take the Patriot Act and multiply it by 15, but they would have nothing to multiply if Bush hadn't laid the foundation for them.

Bush has been a horrible president and I'll be glad to see him leave office, but I do dread what's coming in after him if Ron Paul isn't elected.

I have to agree with the original poster. If RP was not in this race and GWB was, or if Jeb was, that is who I would be voting for. Not the best choice but better than the rest.

Other than Bush's forgien policy, I have no problem with his Presidency. Actually economically it has been good (other than spending for the war, which goes back to foriegn policy). Socially it has been decent as well. And his Presidency has been a billion times better than a Democratic presidency.

I'm not! Bush betrayed US by signing the SPP to combine the US, Canada, and Mexico into one region/government. Also, thanks to him we have the National ID card with a RFID chip in it, the end of habeas corpus, etc, etc, etc.
